After an illness due to paralysis, Miss Fannie Elizabeth Mtezel died Saturday morning at 11:35 o'clock at the family residence, 112 South Duke street.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah Metzel, who for many years conducted the Metzel House, now the Hotel York.
A sister, Miss Ellen Metzel survives, with a number of nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment at Prospect Hill cemetery. The services will be conducted by Rev. Samuel H. Stein, pastor of Trinity Reformed Church.
