Florence Inez Brown 76, of Clay, KY passed away at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY on Sunday March 1, 2020.

She was a retired School Teacher. She taught in the Webster Co. School System for over 27 years at Clay Elementary in Clay, KY. She graduated with a Master's Degree from WKU. She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon and attended Providence Church of Christ in Providence, KY. She was a member of the Piecemaker's of Hopkins Co., she loved going to the Webster Co Senior Center in Dixon, and most of all she loved her 2 granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her son Larry Brown, 2 sisters Linda Engler and Karen Lester and 1 brother Bill Hopper.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Gill(Kirk) of Clay, KY; 1 brother Jerry Hopper(Marilyn) of Clay, KY; 2 granddaughters Addison and Gracyn Smith both of Clay, KY; 3 nieces and 1 nephew and 4 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 4, 2020 at 11am at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister Chip Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday and from 8am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home
