RICHMOND C. "RC" POSTON born July 11, 1914 in Trinity County, Texas, passed away December 13, 2008. He retired in 1975 from Lykes Brothers Steamships Lines after 25 years. Later he worked for Behring International and the Port of Beaumont. He was a long time member of St. Stephen Methodist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife of 70 years, Mary Lyndel Browder Poston; daughters: Julia Edwards and husband Jerry, Mary Yavornik and husband John; grandchildren: Susan, Charlotte, Joshua, Benjamin, Gideon, and Jonah; great grandchildren: Kailey and Heather Peak and his sister Marie Hudgins. In lieu of usual remembrances the family wishes memorials be made to St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 2003 W. 43rd St. Houston, Texas 77018. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
