Mr. Hughes was born in Hacoda, Alabama, on October 24, 1931, to the late Toby and Callie Jackson Hughes.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Toby, and Callie Jackson Hughes; wife, Willie Mae Andrews Hughes; a son-in-law, Lewis Stricklin; two brothers, Pete Hughes, and Howard Hughes; two sisters, Edna Fleming, and Colvis Nell Coon.
