MYRTLE E. ABATE, 93, of Thonotosassa died Sunday in Thonotosassa. A native of Concord, N.C., she moved to the Tampa area in 1943. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Ruby Bennett of Dover, Ollie Shawver of Lutz and Claudine Dibble of Thonotosassa; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Garden of Memories Funeral Home, Tampa.
