Hall of Fame Professional Hockey Player. For twenty-season (1955 to 1975), he played at the center position in the National Hockey League with the Montreal Canadiens. The younger brother of legendary Hall of Fame player Maurice 'Rocket' Richard, Henri was a key contributor to an astonishing eleven Stanley Cup championship teams with Montreal. In 1,258 career regular season games, he amassed 358 points, with 688 assists. He was the recipient of the Masterton Trophy for the 1973-1974 season. To date, he holds the record for most games played in a Montreal Canadiens' uniform. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979. He died of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
