Obituary
Richard Stanley Trauth went to be with the Lord March 5, 2020 at the age of 95 at Surrey Place in Chesterfield surrounded by family.
Richard was born October 28, 1924 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Alice Trauth nee Knarr.
Richard proudly served his country in the 10th Mountain Division of the United States Army during WWII. On April 1, 1950 Richard married Norma Coquelin at Home Heights Presbyterian Church in St. John, MO. Richard worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft and after 25+ years retired. He was a member of Jonesburg United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He was the family's "Mr. Fix It". He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Trauth nee Coquelin of Truxton, MO; son, Stephen (Heidi) Trauth of Hollister, MO; three daughters, Susan (Martin) Merrick of Shrewsbury, MO, Ronda (Joseph) Novak of Lake St. Louis, MO, Renee (Timothy) Cody of Springfield, MO; sister, Shirley Rathert of Wildwood, MO; 16 grandchildren; 21great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Trauth, mother, Alice Trauth, brother, Walter Trauth, Jr. and sister, Eleanor Karl.
