On Sept. 5, 1987, Ron and Linda Gruver were united in marriage in Warrensburg, Missouri. Ron was a Real Estate Agent in Branson, Missouri, served in law enforcement, he was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. he served fr
om May of 1961 to October 1969 and was honorably discharged as a E-6 (Staff Sergeant), he served as an Administrative Specialist at the Pentagon and served in Vietnam and Germany. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. Heenjoyed genealogy; Ancestory and Find-A-Grave, playing bingo, woodworking , and Happy Hour every Friday afternoon at the Veterans Home. Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved all of his friends and family.
Ron is survivred by his wife, Linda, of Knob Noster;their children, Russ (Marryann) Vest of Kansas, Rob (Shelly) Vest of Grinnell, Iowa, Melissa (Jeromy) Vest of Stuart, Iowa, Robert Terry of Arizona, Jeff (Anna) Terry of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Jeremy "Jay" (MelissaTerry of Leeton, Missouri; a brother, Harold (Darline) Vest of Coleman, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 10 grest-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Melva Vest, and a nephew, Kevin Vest.
