Princess Louisa Anne died at Carlton House, London, on May 13, 1768, unmarried, and without issue, at the age of 19 as a result of complications arising from tuberculosis.
Her burial in "the Royal vault" at Westminster Abbey took place on May 21, 1768 and is recorded in The Marriage, Baptismal, and Burial Registers of the Collegiate Church or Abbey of St. Peter, Westminster, Volume 10, page 411 (edited and annotated by Joseph Samuel Chester).
