George W. "Scooter" Clark, 61, of Princeton, died on Thursday morning, May 23, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Scooter was a lifelong resident of Princeton, he was a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy and received an Associate Degree in Automotive Marketing from Northwood Institute. Scooter was a member of church of the Heavenly Rest in Princeton. He was an avid NASCAR fan always wanting a driver of a Ford to win. He loved to race go carts and was a friend to many animals. Scooter was associated for many years with Andy Clark Ford holding various positions with the company; he also had been associated with McCann Motor in Tazewell VA. Scooter was a former member of the Bluefield Sales Executive Club and a former Rotary Club member.

Born September 29, 1951, at Princeton, he was the son of the late Andrew "Andy" Lewis Clark Sr. (1921-2011) and Theresa Caroline "Brownie" Brown-Clark (1922-2003). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Lewis "Drew" Clark Jr. (1949-2007).

Survivors include his sister, Terry Alston Clark-Sarver-Graham & husband Rick Graham & her children, Alston Sarver, Adam Sarver, Justin Graham, Leslie Graham, and Megan Graham; his brother, Drew's children, Andrew Lewis "Jamie" Clark III & wife Karen Clark, Steven Andrew Clark (1984-2016), Misty Dawn Clark-Wagner & husband Shawn Wagner, Heather Faye Clark-Akers & husband Scott Akers; sister-in-law, Colleen Witt-Clark-Cox; and his two four-legged friends, his cats, Houdini and GG.

The family has honored Scooter's request, his services will be kept simple, a graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton with Father Bill Armstrong officiating.
