Victim of I-35 bridge collapse in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Christine was a Michigan native who moved San Diego at 18. Then moved to Minnesota three years ago. She was heading to her church near Lake Calhoun to teach children Greek folk dancing. She was active in the Greek community and recently joined the Daughters of Penelope, a Greek philantropic and educational group. She called another parishioner shortly before 6 p.m. to say she was stuck in traffic on I-35W, said the church's pastor, the Rev. Paul Paris. No one heard from her again after that phone call.
Dearly beloved daughter of Aphrodite and Nick; also survived by sister, Cynthia; aunt, Jennie Miller; uncle, D.A. (Vasilia) George; cousin, Despina (Angelo) Georggin; uncle, Nick A. George; aunt, Ellene H. (Mathew) Kritikos; cousins, Sheryl (John) Vasiliadis, Leesa D. (Bill) Dentinger, and Michelle (Scott) Berge; special friend, Greg Kalogerson; and Cody.
Cause of death was blunt-force injuries.
