(1935 - 2018)

Earl O. Hildebrant, 82, of Manitowoc, died on March 3, 2018 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center. A life celebration social will be held on March 17 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Harrigan-Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water St., Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan-Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan-Parkside Crematory and Chapel.

Earl was born on Oct. 22, 1935 in Greenbush, the son of the late Hugo and Edna Raider Hildebrandt. He graduated from New Holstein High School in 1955. Following high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard for the next four years. Earl dedicated himself to the field of agriculture and had a love for animals and nature. On Sept. 19, 1959 he married Beverly A. Franzen at St. John's United Church of Christ in New Holstein. Ear was an avid Wisconsin sports fan following the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bev; six children and their spouses, Jeff Hildebrandt of Manitowoc; Janice Hildebrant of Eau Claire; Bill Hildebrandt of Manitowoc; Kevin and Leslie Hildebrandt of Fremont; Greg and Shelly Hildebrandt of New Richmond and Ann and Pete Reinke of Manitowoc. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Polster of Kiel, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugo and Edna Hildebrandt; two brothers, Leon and Eugene Hildebrandt and two nephews, Jim and Bob Hildebrandt.

The Harrigan & Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
