Ruby Medearis Roberts, 94 of Gravette, died Monday March 17, 1997 at Gravette Manor.
She was born February 9, 1903 at Crescent, OK to Reuben and Awildia Ozburn Medearis. She has been a resident of Gravette since 1910. A home maker, she joined the Gravette Methodist Church in 1918. She worked many years at Gravette Medical Center as a nurses' aide and after retirement enjoyed making beautiful crafts and quilts for family and friends.
She married Charles Albert Roberts on May 25, 1921. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Survivors include three sons, Marion and his wife Maxine Roberts, Melvin and his wife Betty Roberts of Gravette and Carl and his wife Rita Roberts of Ada, OK; one daughter Alberta and her husband Carol Roark of Shawnee, OK; one sister Lottie Howell of Tulsa, OK; 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
