Portage - Services for Mrs. Mae W. Bender, 64, of 6496 Central Ave., who died Friday at Vale View Convalescent Center, will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Schroeter officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Reese Funeral Home in Hobart from 2 to 9 pm today and from 9:30 am until time of services at the church.
A lifetime Portage resident, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Guild, Portage Senior Citizens and Valparaiso Hammond Organ Society
Surviving arer her husband, Walter, and a brother, Lewis H. Lenburg of Portage.

Mrs. May Bender, a resident of Portage, Ind., passed away Jan. 16 in Valparaiso, Ind. She is survived by her husband Walter Bender, Portage, Ind.
The Benders have been part-time residents of Fairhope and maintain a mobile home at Winter Haven Trailer Court.
