OBITUARY OF WILLIAM BERTON "BILL" DINKINS
William Berton “Bill” Dinkins, age 69 of Westmoreland, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, March 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield Road, Westmoreland, TN 37186. There will be no visitation at Family Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
Mr. Dinkins was born October 19, 1950 in Allen County, KY. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Dinkins and his wife, Trudy Hall Dinkins. He is survived by mother, Thelma Lee Kennedy Dinkins of Westmoreland; son, Sean Dinkins (Shelly Padgett) of Scottsville, KY; daughter, Angela Dinkins of Gallatin; special friend, Nancy Gibbs of Bethpage; sister, Deborah Kendall of Westmoreland, Regena Jones (Manuel) of Portland, Sharon Garrison (Ricky) of Scottsville, KY, and Christy Baker (George) of Bethpage; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Dinkins (Taylor), Matt Dinkins (Erica), Trey Robey, and William Robey; and 7 great grandchildren, Ellie Dinkins, Tinsley Dinkins, Kaeson Dinkins, Korbyn Dinkins, Hadley Dinkins, Grayson Dinkins, and Aidan Stinson. Mr. Dinkins worked for ABC Technology Inc., the Gap, and Genesco; he retired from Genesco after 10 years of service. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
