The former Ruth ACTON, born Jan. 26, 1908, in Wapello County, daughter of Frank and Mamie FOSTER ACTON; married Bernard PEEBLER June 6, 1933. They made their home on a farm three miles s.e. of Batavia.
Survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Daniel ROTH, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Richard PULLUM, Corpus Christi, Tex.; also four grandchildren, her stepmother, Mrs. Kate ACTON, Batavia, and the following step-sisters and step-brothers: Mrs. Ferne HILL, Batavia; Mrs. Grace GOBLE, Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. Frances HITE, Batavia; Keith PARKER, Libertyville; and Clifford PARKER, Batavia. One brother and one stepbrother are deceased.
