Billy Allen, 75, of Whitney passed away March 13, 2020 at his home in Whitney, Texas. He was born November 20, 1944 in Meridian, Texas to Charles Birt and Margie Ruth (Newsome) Allen.
He married Ellie Joyce Miller on May 4, 1973 in Cleburne. He was a man of many talents, a welder, a truck driver and a tool and die maker. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His family was his greatest love, especially his grand children.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Allen of Whitney; children, Billy Allen, Gary Allen, Gena Applegate, Charles Allen and Billie Smith, grand children, numerous great-grand children, nieces and nephews; brother, Danny and Russell Allen and other extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margie Allen, sister; Margaret Weehunt; brother, Jerry Allen and niece, Laura Reed.
Graveside services will be conducted in the Bluff Cemetery, Detroit, Texas on March 18, 2020...CPFH
