Anna Elizabeth Garrard, born February 23, 1951, departed this earth on March 15, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Prior to going into business for herself, Anna spent years working at Parker Seals and St. Joseph hospital in Lexington, KY. When not at work, Anna enjoyed taking care of her home and family and spending time “goodwilling” and gardening with her youngest granddaughter Naziah Garrard. Anna Is preceded in death by her husband, Toleman “Johnny” Garrard, father James “Tony” Francis, grandmother Josie Bush, brothers Jimmy Francis and Darrell Clark and a daughter Sandra Moore. Left to carry on Anna’s legacy is her mother Anna Clark, Brother David Clark, Sister Shirley Mcmullen, special friend Clarence Compton, Daughters, Darlene Martinez, Gale (Jenifer) Garrard, Tammie (Tony) Crawford, Shaunte Garrard, Cecil (Billy) Brooks, Courtney, Teresa (Keith) Williams, Paula Nance and son Toleman (Debbie )Fulz. Anna is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 pm Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road with a graveside service to follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Rev. C. B. Akins will officiate.
