Charles, 79, of Sam Rayburn, passed away at his residence in the Forest Hills community.
A native of Georgia and longtime resident of Port Arthur, he retired to the Forest Hills Community on Lake Sam Rayburn several years ago. He was the former co-owner of Marine Industrial Machine Works in Port Arthur.
Survivors include his wife of fifty six years Peggy S. Parks, two sons Ricky Parks and David Parks, three sisters Pauline Anderson, Florine Ricketts and Bonell Anderson and one Brother Leroy Parks.
