Mary Elizabeth Deehan was the first born child of Daniel and Maggie Foley Deehan. Her date of birth is recorded in the Ohio birth and christening index, also a request was made in Oct of 1948 to the Social Security application and claims index that verified her D.O.B. and parents listed. In the 1910 census she is living with the family in Chicago, her mother died in Chicago in 1915. From the 1920-1940 census Mary Elizabeth was a inmate at the Lincoln State School and Colony. I have no idea why she was institutionalized, a possible unwed mother, emotional issues, or just a unwanted child after her father remarried. I feel more than likely she resided at Lincoln for the rest of her life and is interred in the cemetery. She is a first cousin 1x removed of mine. Rest in peace my dear Mary Elizabeth Deehan.
