Robert “Bob” Wesley Trueblood, 79, of Terre Haute passed away March 18, 2020 in Regional Hospital. He was born April 30, 1940 in West Terre Haute, to Floyd V. Trueblood and Elsie Campbell Trueblood-Beard.
Bob was a member of Mount Pleasant Church. He was a big Chicago Bears fan, as well as IU basketball. He loved to watch his grandkids play ball. Bob was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to vacation with family and friends. He was a good, strong, quiet, dependable man.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bernard and Larry Trueblood, sisters; June Mattox and Betty Cole, and a grandson Jason Hines.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kay Shannon Trueblood, his son, Daniel Trueblood (Michelle), daughters; Tracy Yates (Bill) and Paula Long (Mark), grandchildren; Kristin Fritz (Brian), Carissa Peperak (Joe), Dylan Trueblood (Janee), Nicholas Long, Wesley Long, and Alan Pershing, along with 5 great grandchildren and one on the way.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 from 2 pm until 5 pm. A private family service will be held on Monday at 11am. Burial will take place in Bethesda Cemetery.
