Rex Allen Allred, 50, of Oneonta, AL., passed away on March 20, 2020. He was a fireman/paramedic with Blount County. Preceding him in death were his father Charles "Tag" Allen Allred and great niece Kiley Black. Left to cherish his memory will be his wife Stephanie Wunderlich Allred; daughter Alyson Girdlestone (Justin); Mother Mary Allred; sister Sheilda Armstrong; niece Jennifer Gibson (Nathan); nephew Josh Gibson (Ashley); a host of great nieces and great nephews and his fellow first responder brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the Dailey's Chapel Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Bro. Don Durden officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Firefighter Cancer Foundation at "ffcancer.org" or to the Blount County Fire and EMS Association, 220 2nd Avenue East, Room B6, Oneonta, AL. 35121 for the Junior Fire Fighter Academy.
