Mrs Nellie Pearl Shipley, 86, of Poland Ave., died of a heart ailment in South Side Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs Shipley was born March 9, 1897, in Ohiopyle, Pa., a daughter of Levy and Mary Magdaline Moon Linderman, coming here 53 years ago from South Connellsville, Pa., She was a member of Fairview Immanuel Baptist Church.

Her husband, James L. whom she married Sept 15, 1914, died Oct 20, 1961.

She leaves six sons, Sturgis and Robert of Struthers, Tracy of New Springfield, Richard of Poland, Delmer of Youngstown and Ernest of Norwalk, Calif; a daughter, Mrs Jeanetta Eisenbraun of Struthers; and three sisters, Mrs Ethel Shipley, Mrs Jane Glotfelty and Mrs Evelyn Livindowsky.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Cal Linderman, and four sisters, Mrs Pleasant Petratus, Mrs Kate Linderman, Mrs Sussie Washco and Mrs Theresa Little.
