Spc. Justin R Blackwell of Paris, Tennessee attended Henry County High School graduating in 1999. While there he was an active member of the Soccer team and played a significant role in starting the Chess Club. He had been in the Army six years. His younger brother Nathan received his lieutenant's stripes the same day Blackwell's body was flown home. Another brother is serving in the Army. Justin died in Baghdad of wounds sustained from enemy indirect fire while serving in Irag at age 27.
