Ajamil, Maria Teresa Anrrich "Terrie" age 59, of Minnetonka. Executive at ATS Medical, died at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from complications following surgery. She was born January 5, 1948 in Havana, Cuba to the late Oscar Ajamil and Maria Teresa Anrrich Ajamil. She attended grade school in her native Havana and as a result of communist takeover, she and her brother, Luis, were forced to move to Miami in 1962 where they were joined by their parents six years later. There, she attended Coral Gables High School and graduated in 1966. From the age of 13, Terrie was the leader of the family and truly made her own way in the world. She started her professional career as a sales person and advanced to become a senior executive in the medical industry where she is recognized for her many accomplishments. Through her travels she made friends everywhere in the world. Terrie was a deeply spiritual person with a strong belief in God who prized her family above all else. Her warmth and good judgment made her a valued source of counsel to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her charm, loving nature, contagious laugh, and her attentiveness to the lives of her family and friends. She cherished her cats, Havana, Houston, Nicholas and Kathmandu. Terrie is survived by her life partner, Jennifer Lewis; brother & sister- in-law, Luis & Robyn Ajamil; and her niece and nephews, Brook Cardenas, Mark Troy, Loren Ajamil and Trevor Ajamil. She is further survived by her cousins, Raoul Ajamil, Susan Bandin, Lourdes Diez, Rafael Anrrich and Carlos Anrrich; by her second family, Judy & John Cross, Carrie Lewis, Andrew Wagner, Hannah Schaefer, Ryan Wagner; as well as friends and colleagues all over the world. Additional Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 7377 SW 64th St., Miami, FL. Terrie will be buried alongside her mother and father at Woodlawn Park Cemetery, Miami, FL.
