Norman Fred Bauer, age 76, of Lake, passed away on October 11, 1994, at the Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare.
He was born on March 30, 1918, the son of Fred and Reba (Brock) Bauer Jr. He married Ethel Morse on May 3, 1941, in Saginaw; Mrs. Bauer preceded him in death on June 16, 1989.
Mr. Bauer was a member of the Sparta-Esterline Post 3039, VFW, Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3761 of Lake, the Lake Rod and Gun Club, and the Saginaw Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Janet and Robert Conway of Springfield, OH, and Judy and Rodney Rumrill of Brownsburg, IN; and two grandchildren, Glenn and Karen Rumrill, and Meschelle and Bret Kolb.
Funeral services were held on October 14 from the Coker Funeral Home, Farwell, with his grandson, Glenn Rumrill, officiating. Burial was in the Garfield Township Cemetery at Farwell. An Eagles memorial service was held on October 13. Memorials may be made to the Eagles Recreation Children's Program Fund.
