Mrs. Emma Modra, 81, of 545 S. 30th St., formerly of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Town of Two Rivers, died Friday noon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Karl F. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Modra, nee Emma Koldoff, was born at Two Rivers Sept. 17, 1887, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Koldoff. She was married July 6, 1910, at Two Rivers to Anton Modra, after which they settled on a farm in the Town of Two Rivers on the Town Line Road. Her husband preceded her in death in 1965 after which she made her home at Manitowoc.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Emma) Bochte of Sheboygan; three sons, Milton of Grafton, Alvin of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, and Raymond of Manitowoc, and nine grandchildren. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel, Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 3 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until the time of services.
