Lorraine Ruth Nordin Long, 77, of Pine Bluff (Arkansas) died Thursday at her home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1929, at Detroit, a daughter of the late George Walford and Ruth Sigred Ekblad Nordin.
She was reared and received her early education in Michigan and had lived in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, Pittsburgh and Oil City, Penn., St. Jerome, Quebec and Wheeling, W. Va., before moving to Pine Bluff 25 years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Karin Louise Schelke of Haslett, Mich., and Marion Elizabeth Benton of Clemson, S.C.; one sister, Violet Epps of Toledo, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Lloyd.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Dr. Cheryl Clark officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Berkley, Mich.
