She was never able to be held by her mom. Jennifer was born prematurely, and the doctors/nurses whisked her away to the NICU before mom could ever say hello, or goodbye. They never returned with her, though my mom wanted just one moment to hold her. Though she was barely here, she was thought of constantly through the years. I've always wondered what it would have been like to have a sister. Rest in peace, Jennifer.
