Born March 10, 1934 in Rio Grande, Zacatecas, she later moved to Ciudád Juárez, Chihuahua where she met her husband Francisco Ontiveros de La Regina, Julimes, Chihuahua and finally settled in Anthony, NM.
She is survived by her children: Ana Maria, Francisco Antonio, Yolanda, and Mercy, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, and her two sisters.
Carmen's family pays her tribute for being a very dear lady who has opened her heart as well as the doors of her home to many family and friends throughout the years. She was a warrior until the last moment and a great believer in God who always accepted the Lord's plan.
Carmelita loved flowers, birds, music, and she was fascinated by traveling and living with her family and friends. We prepare ourselves for many things but not to live without it. We will miss it a lot but it still left us with precious memories and advice to each one who touched their lives.
There were private services due to the epidemic at La Paz-Graham Funeral Home in Las Cruces, NM. She was buried in the Anthony Cemetery.
La Paz - Grahams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
