EMMA P. WAGNER
(1872 - 1937)

A stroke, suffered almost two weeks ago, today proved fatal to Mrs. Carl F. Wagner, 65, a resident of Two Rivers for the last 18 years. She died at the municipal hospital.

The body was taken to the Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home and funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from St. John’s Lutheran church, Two Rivers, at 2 o’clock with the Rev. W. G. Haase officiating. Interment will be in Forest View cemetery.

Mrs. Wagner, nee Emma Kretschman, was born in Germany on Oct. 23, 1872. She came to America with her parents when she was seven years of age and the family settled at Appleton. In the spring of 1900 she was married to Carl F. Wagner at Appleton and in 1919 the family came to Two Rivers to reside. Mr. Wagner, who was employed as a plumber, died eight years ago.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Solomon Matthies, Mrs. Eugene Blaha, Miss Ione, all of Two Rivers, and Mrs. E. J. Weber of Manitowoc; two sons, Carlton and Earl, both of Two Rivers; two brothers, Carl of Janesville and Henry of Green Bay; and two sisters, Martha Kretschman of Green Bay and Mrs. Gust Lesiring of Appleton.
