Norbert R. Tomashek, age 48, of 3071 Albert Drive, Green Bay, died Thursday, August 6, 1992, at his home.

He was born June 10, 1944 in Shawano, to Marion (Hoffman) Tomashek and the late Ray Tomashek. On April 15, 1967 he married Nancy Malley at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Norb was employed as sales account manager at the Brillion Iron Works for 20 years prior to his illness. He enjoyed trout fishing and hunting in his leisure time.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Tomashek-Ditter and James Ditter, Hortonville; Christine Tomashek at home; one son, Robert Tomashek, at home. His mother Marion Tomashek, Two Rivers; one sister, Judy Nitzke, PoySippi; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim Tomashek and Hollis Harris, Alameda, Calif.; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Tomashek.

Friends may call at the Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Catholic Church, 3452 Finger Road, Green Bay, on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the Church with the Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The Proko-Wall Funeral Home, Green Bay, assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial to the Bellin Hospice Program is established in his memory.

The Tomashek family wishes to thank Dr. Thomas Saphner and the Bellin Hospice personnel for the care and support offered during Norb's illness.
