Ted Stobbe, 90, of 2116 30th Street, Two Rivers, died late Thursday morning, September 24, 1987 at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Stobbe was born December 6, 1896 at Green Bay, son of the late Gustav and Caroline Schlike Stobbe. He attended Green Bay schools and served in the Navy during World War I. For approximately 40 years he and a partner operated Stobbe and Seefeldt Plumbing, Two Rivers. He retired 21 years ago. On February 14, 1920 he married the former Clara Hardow at Manitowoc. Mr. Stobbe was a member of the American Legion and a member of Two Rivers Lion Club of which he was past president.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mae and John Moehling of Mount Prospect, Illinois, Jean and Eugene Haefner and Lois and Herman Jaeger of Two Rivers; 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Robert Lyke.

Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, 5 pm to 8 pm this Friday evening and after 9 am Saturday at the church to the time of services.
