Raymond Steger, 77, of 2403 Lincoln Avenue, Two Rivers, died Sunday morning, January 25, 1987 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate with burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Steger was born August 8, 1909 at Marshfield, son of the late John and Caroline Wirch Steger. He was a Veteran of World War II. Mr. Steger was employed at Hamilton Industries for 20 years. He married the former Edna Blum on August 31, 1940 at Two Rivers. Mr. Steger was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; a brother, Frank Steger of California; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sampel of California and Mrs. Olga Schuster of Minneapolis and number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church, Two Rivers, from 10 am Wednesday morning until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
There will be no visitation at Deja and Martin Funeral Home of Two Rivers.
