Mrs. William Schultz, 78, died late Friday afternoon at the home, 1608 17th street, Two Rivers, after a two weeks illness. She had been in good health until two weeks ago.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock from the Beduhn funeral home and at 2 from Emanuel Evangelical church in Two Rivers. The Rev. F.D. Schlueter will officiate and burial will be in Forest View cemetery.
Mrs. Schultz, nee Marie Sager, was born in Granichen, Switzerland on Sept. 1, 1859. She came to America in 1879 and lived in New York. Not long after that she went back to Switzerland for five years and then returned to America. From New York she went to Sheboygan. On February 15, 1892 she was married in Sheboygan to William Schultz of Two Rivers. The couple lived in Sheboygan until 1903, and then came to Two Rivers. Mr. Schultz died five months ago, in his 89th year. Mrs. Schultz was a member of the Evangelical church all her life and was active in church affairs. She was a member of the Ladies Aid society of the church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Martha Gensman and the Misses Flora and Louise Schultz of Two Rivers; two brothers, Adolph and John of Sheboygan; and one sister, Pauline, in Switzerland. Her brother Adolph had visited her the day before her death, after he returned from a trip to the old home in Switzerland.
The body may be viewed at the Beduhn funeral home tonight and up to the time of the funeral services Monday.
