J.R. Schneller, 53, of 2706 Forest Ave., Two Rivers, died Thursday noon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital after a long illness.
Private funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. Karl F. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Schneller was born June 19, 1911, at Humbird, Wis., son of the late Juzi and Mrs. Lila Putman Schneller. When he was 15 the family brought him to Two Rivers. Prior to being employed by general contracting firms in the area he was in the men's wear department of J.C. Penney Co., Two Rivers.
Besides his mother he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Rebarchek and Miss Beatrice, of Two Rivers.
The casket will remain closed.
