Mrs. Charles Schmidt, 82, of route 1, Two Rivers, died Tuesday at the Two Rivers municipal hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Johns Lutheran church, Two Rivers, with burial in Forest View cemetery.
She was born Caroline Carstens in Newton in 1866 and in 1890 was married to Mr. Schmidt. They located on a farm in the town of Two Rivers. Her husband died several years ago.
Survivors are four sons, Carl of Elgin, Nebr., Ervin and Roy of Two Rivers, Arno of Mishicot, three daughters, Mrs. William Zarn of Two Rivers, Mrs. Herbert Luedtke of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Arthur Schwake of Mishicot.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc. funeral home in Two Rivers, after 2 p.m. Thursday and will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Friday.
