High Point- Mae Chapman Bingham, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Westchester Manor . Mae was born on September 22, 1929, in Stokes County, NC to the late James Benjamin Chapman and Cornelia White Chapman. She graduated from High Point College. Mae worked at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point for over twenty-five years as the office manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nixon Ingram Bingham, on November 15, 2019; her parents, James Benjamin Chapman and Cornelia White Chapman; and five brothers, Raymoth Chapman, Roscoe Chapman, Hilary Chapman, Norman Chapman and Arnold Chapman.
Mae is survived by her daughters, Emily Forro and Susan Albright (Mark); grandchildren, Kyle Albright and Josh Albright; sister, Lorraine Stout; and sisters-in-law, Yvonne Lloyd and Polly Bingham.
Due to conditions related to Covid-19, only a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of the Piedmont at 1803 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
