Dale L. Cullinan, 71, of Clarion, died Friday (May 26, 2000) at USA Health Care in Dows of pulmonary fibrosis. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the Rev. Daird W. Korth of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ventura officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. There will be no visitation. Willim Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dale LaVern Cullinan was born on June 17, 1928, in Belmond, the son of John and Bessie (Quam) Cullinan. He was a lifelong resident of Clarion. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years prior to retiring and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. On Sept. 18, 1950, he was united in marriage to Erma L. Schroeder at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. Survivors include his wife, Erma; three sons, Dennis of Ames, Scott of Clear Lake and Barry of Clarion; a daughter, Vicky Nily of Lakewood, Calif.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Robert of Belmond and Richard of Wahiawa, Hawaii; and a sister, Mary Smith of Coronado, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kevin, four sisters and two brothers. Willim Funeral Home
