Married to David H. Williams of Hampton, NH. Mother of Tamara P. Williams (married name of Demmons). Grandmother of Andrew Harrison Demmons. Hampton – Bonnie Ann Williams, 64, of Hampton, formerly of Stratham, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.

She was born December 6, 1945 in Helena, MT a daughter of the late Paul K. and Bethana L. (Downing) Blackstun.

Bonnie graduated from Portsmouth High School with the Class of 1963 and later made her home in Stratham for 25 years before moving to Hampton in 2000. She was employed as president and CEO of William's Communications Services, Inc. since 1973.

In her earlier years she joined the United Methodist Church in Hampton and co-founded the Methodist Youth Fellowship and while living in Stratham she served as Sunday school administrator at the Stratham Community Church.

She also served on the board of directors for the NH Diabetes Association Cocheco Valley Chapter, was a member of the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary serving on the former notification of fire phone bank, member of the New England and Maine Genealogical Societies, supported and volunteered for the NH S.P.C.A., served on Hampton Boy Scout Troop 177 committee and enjoyed camping and traveling.

She shared 41 years of marriage with her husband, David H. Williams of Hampton.

In addition to her husband, family members include her daughter, Tamara P. Demmons and husband Michael of Portsmouth and two grandsons, Michael and Andrew.

She was predeceased by her sister, Donna Lee Blackstun.

A visiting hour will held from 6 -7 P.M. Monday, August 2, 2010 prior to the service in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton followed by services in the funeral home at 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The family suggests donations to the New Hampshire S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885 or to Seacoast Hospice, c/o Hyder Family Hospice House, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
