Lorraine E. Saubert, age 96, a Two Rivers resident, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 4, 2013, at the Wisteria Haus.

Lorraine was born July 26, 1916, in the town of Two Creeks, daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Zierzow) Ringmeier. She attended Twin Elder School in Two Creeks and was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1933. After graduation, she was employed at Mirro for a number of years. On June 21, 1941, she married Louis G. Saubert at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21, 1991. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1992. Lorraine and her husband owned and operated a farm in the town of Two Rivers for 36 years before moving to the City of Two Rivers in 1977.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Ronald and Sari Saubert, James H. Saubert, of Two Rivers; three grandchildren: Debbie (Tim) Wiora of Madison, Lori (Wade) Rehrauer of Two Rivers and SFC James L. Saubert of NC; four great grandchildren: Erica Saubert, Austin, Allison, and Brayden Rehrauer. She is further survived by a sister-in-law: Dorothy Ringmeier of Manitowoc, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Rachel (Charles) Lambert, Martha (Harold) Puls, and Grace (Roland) Pfefferkorn, two brothers and a sister-in-law; Raymond and Lorene Ringmeier and Edward Ringmeier, a daughter-in-law Mary, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Fred and Gertrude Saubert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. David Arndt. Burial will follow the service at Forest View Cemetery in Two Rivers. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:45 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.
