ONTARIO, March 13 - James H. Gammon, former resident of Etiwanda and well known throughout the West End, died today at the home of his brother-in-law, E. (Earnest) E. Perdew, 603 East Orange Street, Monrovia, at the age of 32. He had been ill for some time.
Mr. Gammon is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Mabel Perdew; a small daughter, Regina; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Gammon residing in Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Eattenberger of Cucamonga; and two brothers, Claude Gammon of Hermosa Beach and William Gammon of Los Angeles.
Mr. Gammon was a member of the Elks and the Ontario Lodge is to be in charge of the funeral services which will be held at Draper’s chapel Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in Bellevue, Cemetery.
