Becky attended Austinville School for years but graduated from Decatur High School in 1965. She graduated from UAH and received her Masters degree from University of Alabama. She taught at Morgan County High in 1970's and went to work at Intergraph from where she retired in 2006.
Becky is survived by her Husband, the love of her live, Steve, brother Robert French Jr., father-in-law, Ken Barry, brothers-in-law, Phillip Barry, Andy (Stella) Barry, Don (Janet) Barry, David (Stephanie) Barry, nieces and nephews: Michelle French, Anita (Tim) Penn, Donna (Greg) Campbell, Jay (Donna) Stewart, Juli Stewart, Rebecca (Matt) Salmonson, Tammy French,Tommy (Kay) French, Faye Barry;, Autumn Barry, Dan Barry, John McCauley, and a host of great nieces and nephews. Her special grandson/great nephew, Joshua Stewart, and her best friend for almost 60 year, Mary Tant.
Becky attended Community South Church of God.
She will be greatly missed as she was the matriarch of our family and was a kind and generous soul. She had a unique way of spreading the gospel as she made balloon animals and handed out Christian tracts with each one. She was known as the "balloon lady".
She was had a love for God and wanted everyone to get saved. Special thanks to Hospice of the Valley for such compassionate care of our loved one.
