He was survived by three sons, W. J. McKitrick, J.F. McKitrick and M.M. McKitrick of Inman; and three daughters, Mrs. Ada Kirling of Greer, Mrs. Lima Abernathy of Spartanburg, and Mrs. Henrietta Dickson of Inman.
Funeral services: Friday, June 24, 1927, from the residence of W.J. McKitrick near Tucapau, conducted by Rev. R.R. Bradey.
Burial: Edgewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Grover Miller, Lewis McMillan, C.E. Jackson, Jas. Davis, W.M. Mason, and Jessie Blalock.
