Fritz R. Brandes Jr., age 95, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Wednesday April 1, 2020. Fritz was born October 17, 1924.
Fritz was married for well over 60 years to his wife Jo, who passed in 2009. He loved sports of all kinds; especially golf. He shot his age or better several times while in his seventies. He was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
He served in the United States Air Force as a Navigator on B-29 bombers and flew 30 missions over Japan in service to his country. Fritz believed wholeheartedly in the power of faith as referenced in the Bible (James 5:15). He wanted any charitable donations in his honor to be directed to the church of your preference.
Fritz will be interred at Houston National Cemetery alongside his wife Jo.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Fritz R. Brandes Jr. is postponed until gatherings are permitted once again.
