He was preceded in death by his parents Kirby Adam and Althea Guidry Adam; one son, Keith Stephens Adam; one sister, Della A. Gaudet and a brother-in-law, Charles J. Gaudet.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of American Legion Post 309 in Grand Isle and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle.
He loved LSU, Saints and Tulane football as well as playing bingo and the lottery, but his one true love in life was chocolate.
