Anne is a graduate of John Hallahan High School, class of 1943 and the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1945. She was employed as a School Nurse for the Philadelphia School District for 19 years before retiring in 1986. Anne previously worked at St. Agnes Hospital and was also a Private Duty Nurse. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen R.C. Church and a former member and President of the Ladies Auxiliary Sons of Italy. Anne was a member of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, now part of Neumann University. She enjoyed spending time at her home in Ventnor, NJ, riding her tricycle, playing mahjong and bridge, and knitting. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed playing games and communicating with the use of her iPad. However, most important to Anne was her loving family and the time she spent with them.
Anne was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Vincent S. Canosa, who died October 25, 2015; and her siblings, Theresa Bellarmino and Robert Gibboni.
She is survived by her children, Vincent S. Canosa, Jr. (Angel), Roddy P. Canosa (JoAnn), Susanne L. DiBianca (Joe) and Theresa C. Becker (Jeff); 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
