Carol is survived by her husband, Jacob Guy Bell III, and her mother, Josephine T. Gillan. Her father, Carl J. Gillan, preceded her, in death. She is also survived by her children, Jacob Guy Bell IV (Vicki) and Christopher Thomas Bell Sr. (Valerie), her sister, Judith McNesby (her life-long best friend), her brother, Thomas F. Gillan (Nancy), her grandchildren, Amanda Saffran (Andrew), Melanie Bell, Cassie Bell, and Christopher Bell Jr., her great grandchildren, Coleman and Raelynn Saffran, her nephew, Thomas J. Gillan, and her niece, Leah R. Gillan-Van Cleave.
Carol loved Mickey Mouse, scrap booking, animals and spending time with family. She loved going to the beach at Ocean City, MD. The most important thing to her was her family. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. The most recent love of her life was the birth of her two great grandchildren, Coleman and Raelynn.
A memorial service will be held, at a later date, after the Coronavirus pandemic.
