James Douglas "Digger" Stephens, 45, of Island Park, Idaho, died Jan. 12, 2003, of a heart attack. He was born June 21, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Max R. Stephens and Marilyn D. Peck.
He attended schools in Ashton and St. Anthony, Idaho. He has lived in Island Park for the last 30 years working with his father in the Stephens Construction business. He loved to ride snowmobiles and ATVs.
He is survived by his companion, Vada (Pete) Roberts of Island Park; father, Max Stephens of Island Park; mother, Marilyn (Dusty) Peck of St. Anthony; sisters, Deb Coleman of St. Anthony, and Kathy (Kent) Lords of Ashton.
