Adam B. Alexander passed away at 6:33 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 1981, at Assumption General Hospital in Napoleonville, La. He was 45, a native of Belle Rose and a resident of New Orleans. Visiting will be at Greater Israel Baptist Church in Belle Alliance after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services will be at the church at 8 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Dorsey. Dismissal will be 10 a.m. Thursday, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Survived by his mother, Mrs. Mable Alexander Jones, Belle Rose; two daughters, Darlene and Rose Alexander; three sisters, Ethel Collins, Flint, Mich., Mrs. Ora Lee Henderson, Detroit, Mich., and Melvina Bryant, New Orleans; four brothers, Royal, James, and Hamilton Alexander; all of Flint, Mich., and Alley Alexander Jr., of New Orleans. He was preceded in death by his father, Alley Alexander Sr. Williams and South Hall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, in charge of arrangements.
